The Remarkable Bible is not an app. It is a pdf file with embedded links to every Book and Chapter of the Bible. It can be opened by any pdf reader, editor or note app on any device, but is designed to be used with a stylus supported device such as the Apple iPads. Also works well on iPhones with fine point stylus.

IF YOU ARE NOT READING THIS ON THE DEVICE YOU USE WITH A STYLUS, SUCH AS IPAD, IPHONE, GALAXY NOTE etc., STOP AND CONTINUE ON ONE OF THOSE DEVICES. READ THROUGH ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING.

Step 1: Download an iOS app

Download a compatible app from your device's app store, then return here for Step 2. The following apps are our tested recommendations. We will be adding Android app suggestions soon. If you are on Android, let us know your suggestions.

GoodNotes 5 now is compatible with TRB. Great app with outstanding features. Very clean solid app. Currently our Staff Favorite. One time low cost fee to purchase. Try it for free. Download on the Apple App Store.

Notes Writer is a great companion with TRB. Get the free version to try it out. Upgrade to Pro for more features. Great app! Download on the Apple App Store.

Try ZoomNotes Lite - it's FREE

ZoomNotes is feature rich and allows for infinite writing space on pages. You can do amazing things with deep study in ZoomNotes. Has bit higher learning curve. ZoomNotes Lite version Free. Low cost professional version available. Download on the Apple App Store.

Books, Apple’s pdf reader now has very nice editing features for the Apple Pencil. It comes standard with iOS and is FREE. This app isn't as intuitive to use for note taking as others. Books should already be on your iOS device, so you can skip down to step 2 if you want to use Books.

Notability is now a monthly/annual subscription based app. Download on the Apple App Store.

  • Download One Year Reading Plan only

    This is the one year Reading Plan only. You can download and open in any notation app. This is useful to have open along side your Remarkable Bible pdf instead of navigating within TRB to find and mark off the passages. Once it opens in your browser, use the save or share feature of your browser to send it to storage or open in an app. In iOS you can share it to the Files app.

Step 3: Start reading and writing on your new Remarkable Bible

Every app has its own feature set. Experiment to find what methods work best for you. With Apple iOS 12 you may have two apps open side by side. You can have TRB open in one app and sermon notes in another. Enjoy!
